Names in Vain is a three person band formed in 2006. They are a Southern California band and their
first EP titled “Most of Our Universe is Missing” is a unique collection of music.
It starts out with the track Good Things Happen to Bad People which is a surprising collection of interesting lyrics and a great sound. Track one is my favorite on the CD, but there are other very good sounds on the CD.
If you are in the LA area be sure to look them up. I am sure you will be very impressed with this unique sound.

The RhythMMerchant is a NY band that was formed in 2004. The members are Pat Dudgeon(bass), Eric Arico (guitar), and Dave Grammerstorf (drums and vocals). You can occasionaly catch them at Kenny’s CAstaways, Trash Bar, Blaggards Pub and other places in the NY metro.
Trampoline is a new CD by The RhythMMerchant. It was released in June 2008. It is a full length CD produced by David Grammerstorf.
The package they sent has a very professional appearance and the production quality was very good. I really liked a few of the songs on this album, but a few of them were not my cup of tea.
Besure to check them out at www.myspace.com/therhythmmerchant
If you are in the NY metro and have not heard this band, be sure to check them out.
