18.September.2004 - GarageBand Hits the Road with 'ChoozaPalooza 2004'
GarageBand.com, the world's largest music community, hosts ten-city outdoor Concert tour to encourage last-chance voter registration. The tour locations are planted in five swing states and the event hopes to encourage thousands of new voters to register for this year's election. Over 7,000 bands competed for the coveted slots on the tour and over 60,000 votes were cast to determine the lineup for this incredible cause. 11.September.2004 - Engine Down's Tour Bus Stolen
After a recent Houston, TX show, Engine Down's van and trailer were stolen from the parking lot of a Red Roof Inn. All of their gear, 3 laptop computers, cameras, merchandise and personal items are all gone. The band has the fortune of having Brazil as their touring partners who are lending them what they need to play to stay on the road. This isn't the first time a rockin band has needed the help of its fans. Many people have offered to help these guys by donating money via PayPal. 8.September.2004 - Beta Band Announces Final Tour
The Beta Band has become a great success in the underground music world and many fans are proud to put them in their top bands of all time. However, despite their climb to stardom, the band has decided to call it quits and has announced the dates of their final tour ever. If you are a fan of the Beta Band, you should do what it takes to catch them one last time live. Dates are through the month of November and can be found on the band's website. RIP

After months of hardwork and research, the creators of BandAttack have opened their doors to the public. The site will features the very best and most useful resources available to bands on the Internet. The thought of good music going undiscovered will no longer be a fear of the American people.
 
29.August.2004 - Throwdown Schedules Insane Tour
Throwdown recently announced their next tour starting October 7, which just might be the biggest heavy music event of 2004 according to Trustkill Records. Joining Throwdown will be Lamb Of God, Fear Factory, and Children Of Bodom. Do everything in your power to make sure you witness at least date of this tour and if you do miss it, we hope your children never find out because they wouldn't look up to you anymore.
 
20.August.2004 - Modest Mouse Up for MTV Video Music Award
BandAttack would like to congratulate a personal staff favorite, Modest Mouse for their nominations in this year's MTV Video Music Awards. The band has seen a tremendous amount of success this year as they went from nobodies to somebodies with the release of their newest album "Good News for People Who Love Bad News. You can vote now for their video Float On at mtv.com in the categories of "MTV2 Award, Breakthrough Video and Best Special Effects." The VMAs will be broadcast from Miami this year at 8pm on Sunday, August 29.

17.August.2004 - Green Day Announces Small Club Tour
The non-stop, super pop rock machine known as Green Day is thumbing their nose at the rockstar lifestyle and going on a small club tour to prove they haven't lost their indie roots. Check out the dates so far:

Sept. 16 - Henry Fonda Theatre, Los Angeles
Sept. 18 - Vic Theatre, Chicago
Sept. 21 - Irving Plaza, New York
Sept. 24 - Phoenix Concert Theatre, Toronto
 
17.August.2004 - Martyr AD Shoots New Video
Martyr AD just finished shooting a video for "American Hollow" at an abandoned hospital in Orange County, CA. The theme is nothing short of dark, mysterious and gothic as hell. The video was directed by Chris Sims and is sure to be quite the experience to see. So whether you dig the music or not, keep an eye peeled for this three-minute thriller.
 
15.August.2004 - Denali No More
A personal favorite of ours here at BandAttack, Denali, has parted ways. Rumor has it, most of the band wants to conitnue doing music in some shape or form. Regardless of their non-existance as a band, we still highly recommend you check out Denali's music if you haven't already. RIP
 
14.August.2004 - AlexisOnFire Hops on the Warped Tour Bandwagon
AlexisOnFire has just kicked off the Canadaian footer of their voyage with this year's Warped Tour. They will continue on the road until August 19th so go check them out!
 
13.August.2004 - Bleeding Through and HellFest on FUSE
Tonite at 8:00pm, FUSE Television will be doing a 30 minute feature on the hot Trustkill band known as Bleeding Through. Footage and interviews will also include content from this year's HellFest in New Jersey. A must see for any fan of Bleeding Through, hardcore, HellFest, or.. FUSE.
 
12.August.2004 - GiveUpTheGhost Calls It Quits
All that trouble for nothing! After living a legacy in the hardcore community under the name American Nightmare, these guys were forced to change their name because another crappier band claimed they had it first. AN responded peacefully with a dramatic name change to Give Up the Ghost, under which they soon released a new record. However, despite all of the commotion and trouble, the band has decided to break up. Their July HellFest appearance was cancelled as well as the rest of their summer dates and no final show is in the cards. RIP
