BandAttack.com was an idea in the making since February 2004. The site was completed and officially launched to the world in July of 2004. The site may be new, but we use this to our advantage, learning from the mistakes of past similar sites and building upon the features of the successful ones. We are a small team of designers and developers from all over the New York state area but, more importantly, we are all musicians. BandAttack is, and always will be, a free service to our users to get their band or group off the ground. We understand how hard it is to get heard as we have been there ourselves and lived everything we preach in these pages. Our goal is to show you the most-effective tools and resources available to you
in both the real world and on the internet so you can attack the public ear. We also want you to be able to consider BandAttack your indie home away from home, where you can catch up on industry news, check out your favorite band's latest album, dig up new music, and more.

BandAttack.com will be growing constantly as we experiment with new features, layouts, services and formats. We here at BandAttack realize that rock is power. It has been proven that indie bands can carry extremely powerful and positive messages in their lyrics, music, and perfomances but they reach less ears than the "manufactured" bands who may have lost all touch with making a difference. There are thousands of very helpful resources out there for bands, but as your connection to them all, we hope you'll consider this the most valuable of all!
