MiNG is an acoustic jam band from Orange County quickly developing a local following and a reputation for being one of the best Southern California Acts. The band is made up by Guitarist/Vocalist MiNG, Upright Bassist Garrett Wolfe and Drummer/Percussionist Mike Riney. They have made regular appearances since May 2006 at The Blue Café, The Rainbow Bar and Grill, The Rhythm Lounge, The Coach House, DiPiazza’s, The Ugly Mug, The Gypsy Den, The Moxie Java, The Sol Grill, The Liquid Lounge, and Taco Beach to name a few with more venue’s and performances being scheduled on a regular basis.
The band just released their first EP and have been featured in the Orange County Register.
MiNG considers it’s music a modern mixture of Jazz, Blues, Folk, and Rock. They have a mellow sound that is easy to listen to and very enjoyable. Check them out and let us know what you think.

These guys were great. I saw them at the Liquid Lounge in Long Beach. They played incredibly tight, catchy music and commanded your attention.
Yes, they seem like that would be a great band to see. I have not seen them, but heard of them and wanted to get our reviews going again with them.

If you haven’t seen this band yet, you are missing out! I have been to several of their gigs and this band is hot! These guys are cool and laid back and sure knows how to get the crowd going. I think their next show is at the Liquid Lounge in Long Beach on April 5th. I’m not going to miss it!
I recently saw MiNG play at the Blue Cafe in Long Beach. They were awesome! Everyone in the band attributed to their great sound. Their style was unique, and their music does have quite a modern mixture! Everyone who went to see them play all had a terrific time. We’ll definitely be back to hear and see them again soon.

I saw Ming at the Blue Cafe and they were awesome. They are very talented musicians and have a unique sound. The lead singer is a talented guitarist with a great voice, the stand up base was very cool, and the drummer had some great beats without being too overpowering. I decided to pick up their cd and have been listening to it all week. Check them out, you won’t be dissappointed.
Very unique musical solos from all three members. It’s refreshing to hear musicians mix it up and let loose with their own style, while still making it sound cohesive.
And as an added bonus, they’re all nice to look at! Great harmonizing, too.
